Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for day to day technical operations such as installation and configuration, operation and maintenance of the Outage Management System. This position will be responsible for understanding, documenting, planning and execution of system upgrades and disaster recovery processes with minimal impact to the end user. This position will also implement new features within the software and assist with any critical support issues.
Must be a self-starter who can work with little direct supervision and can deal with complex business and technical situations. Must be team oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, communicate effectively and can collaborate with local and or remote personnel to provide fast and effective solutions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field and five years of outage management systems experience. Requires three years of relevant IT experience. Relevant experience includes installation/configuration/operation/maintenance of software systems.
