Community Outreach

Triple-I is committed to making a positive difference where we live and work. Since our founding in 1971, we have reached out to help many through philanthropic efforts and volunteer support. Most recently, we have been pleased to help our communities by supporting these very important causes:

  • Platoons Forward, Afghanistan, a program sponsored by the Isadore Hoehn VFW #7397 that provides comfort items to Infantry Platoons and Companies deployed to remote, mountain top Combat Outposts.
  • Kansas City Toys for Tots, a program of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that collects and distributes new, unwrapped toys as Christmas gifts to needy children.  The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
  • Community LINC, helping Kansas City families become economically self-sustaining and involved community members.
  • Learn: Science and Math Club, to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
  • Kansas City Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation through Dodge for a Cause, working for a cure for diabetes and its complications.
  • National MS Society, MS 150, supporting a world free of multiple sclerosis.
  • Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City, working to fulfill the dream of home ownership for low-income families in the greater Kansas City area.
  • Boys Hope Girls Hope of Kansas City, helping academically capable and motivated children-in-need.
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, mentoring high risk children in Kansas City.
  • Adams Camp of Denver, serving toddlers and children with special needs and their families.
  • Buckeye Ranch of Columbus, offering family-focused mental health treatment services for children with behavioral or psychological disorders.
  • Socks in September (through Davidson Promotional), collecting socks for several Kansas City area organizations.
  • Make-A-Wish Foundation, enriching the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
  • United Way Gifts in Kind, Houston, increasing the organized capacity of people to care for themselves and others.
  • Camp Barnabas, providing life-changing opportunities to people with disability or disease.
  • Boy Scouts of America, Heart of America Council, preparing the young people of eastern Kansas and western Missouri to make ethical choices.
  • Special Operations Warrior Foundation, providing full college scholarship grants, not loans, along with financial aid and educational counseling to surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident.
  • Cell Phones For Soldiers, helping our soldiers serving overseas call home.
  • Products for Good, helping the families of our wounded and fallen heroes by donating to charities that help them keep their homes through difficult times, build new homes for permanently injured soldiers and help build a nursing home facility on a VA hospital property.
